📅 Weekends

Saturday and Sunday are our standard weekends. We don't work on these days, but chat activity can be high. If that bothers you, you can pause notifications in Slack until Monday.

If, for some reason, you still find yourself working on the weekends (which is not recommended!), we strongly suggest taking a day off on another day to prevent burnout in the future

🎉 Holidays

December 31st and January 1st - The New Years

March 8th - International Women's Day

November 19th - International Men's Day

We are an American company, so we follow the American Holidays calendar. However, we understand that you might have some national holidays that are important to you — just know that they can also be days off for you.

🤩 Anytime Day Off

You can take a day off at any time and for any reason. If you feel you need to be off, don't deny yourself that. We also have a rule not to disclose 'why' you're taking the day off to avoid unnecessary comparisons! Furthermore, we don't have a limit on the number of days off, and we don't keep track of them. We only care for your results.

The most important thing is to inform your manager. If you want to avoid being contacted, set your Slack status to ❌Day Off (you can also specify until when you'll be unavailable in your status).

🤒 Sick leave

If you're feeling unwell, please inform your manager immediately and take an adequate number of days to recover. Together with your manager, you can discuss the delegation of urgent tasks to someone on the team, deadline adjustments, and more.

What else should you do to avoid worrying during illness?
